Graceland Cemetery’s collection of trees has been certified as an arboretum by Chicago’s Morton Arboretum. The Trustees of the Graceland Improvement Fund carefully manage the over 2,000 trees in the cemetery with prudent removal and annual tree planting plans. The recent emphasis has been to add color to the cemetery tree population, particularly in important corridors. The Trustees welcome visitors to the cemetery to enjoy the history, architecture, horticulture and arboretum that is Graceland.
